The Harvest School provides developmentally appropriate curriculum and small class sizes for ages Pre-K through Sixth Grade, immersed in creative and practical application of the arts, music, movement, and foreign language. The arts are integreated with Mathematics, History, Language, and Science, providing a rich learning experience for students.
The Harvest is a private day school, inspired by the work of Rudolf Steiner and Waldorf Education. Our Waldorf-trained and experienced teachers provide students of The Harvest with meaningful, age-appropriate artistic learning experiences.
Our campus is nestled in a beautifully forested nook of The Woodlands adjacent to trails that extend 150 miles throughout The Woodlands. Basketball courts, fields, and park areas provide a healthy, natural learning environment. Outdoor learning, nature walks, gardening, and field trips to local farms and protected natural areas are a regular part of our program.
Founded in 2001 by parents and teachers with a vision for establishing a Waldorf School in The Woodlands, The Harvest School is a member of WECAN, The Waldorf Early Childhood Association and is an affiliate of LifeWays North America. We are a Texas-licensed childcare facility.
