Admissions and Tuition
Thank you for your interest in The Harvest.  Our admissions procedure addresses the parents’ need to gain a fuller picture of our program and also allows the Admissions Committee to evaluate a student’s needs.  The instructions below should guide you through the admissions process. 

Application to The Harvest is open to children whose families express an interest in the school and whose children meet the age requirement. To schedule a visit to the school, please call 281.298.8632. Once the completed application and $75 application fee are received, the Admissions Director will conduct a phone interview.

As openings are available, families will be invited to attend an interview. If the parents and the teacher(s) agree to proceed, the student will be invited to visit classes, after which an admissions decision will be made by the admissions team. A formal, written letter will be sent to the family informing them of the team’s decision. Please note: no acceptance or declination is final until the official written admissions letter is sent. If the parents choose to enroll their child, the deposit and enrollment forms will be required within 15 days to secure their place in class. The Harvest welcomes students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin.

Applications are accepted year-round, with teacher-family interviews scheduled for the current year when openings are available. All applications for the following school year received by March 15 will be considered. Applications that are received after March 15 will be considered as openings permit.

Applications on our waiting list are considered based on the date of the application, social aspects of the class, whether the applicant has siblings in The Harvest, and if the family has previous Waldorf school experience.

The Harvest now accepts major credit cards for tuition payments for your convenience through Paypal. To make a tuition payment or a donation, notify our school office by emailing woodlandswaldorf@sbcglobal.net.
